At The Law Office of Alice Beirne, I have over 20 years of experience zealously advocating on behalf of clients, both in and out of the courtroom.
A 1985 graduate of the Rutgers School of Law in Newark, with honors, I began my legal career working for a large firm in Woodbridge doing real estate litigation for six years before transitioning to a mid-sized Secaucus firm, where I supervised junior attorneys in the areas of governmental and municipal litigation for the next four years. After that, I was a partner in small firm in Bergen County, focusing on plaintiff-side personal injury, medical malpractice and workers' compensation for over a decade.
In 2007, I decided to open my own firm so that I could deliver more attentive, client-centered representation. I have dedicated my practice to helping people throughout West Orange and surrounding communities in North New Jersey who are struggling with legal problems in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation, estate administration and litigation, and general civil litigation.
I am certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court. Recognized in the legal community for the high caliber of my counsel and representation, I have been included in list of the New Jersey Super Lawyers since 2005.
I am admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of New Jersey and am a member of the New Jersey Bar Association. An active member of the community, I am also an attorney for the West Orange Zoning Board. I also spent four years as the Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Lawyer, a weekly publication.
